What a show. You might doubt that the concept could travel to the stage the way Spinal Tap did, but it was a riot. Each group got a half hour or so to do their set and they had hysterical between song patter.
Amazing, if for nothing other than the amount of talent onstage at one time: Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, Chris Guest, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, etc. Bob Balaban and Jennifer Coolidge hosted as their characters from the movie and their moments together were among the high points of the evening.
