: I don't think this band gets the recognition they deserve. I know plenty of people who, quite fashionably, claim some sort of interest in seventies classic rock (usually manifested in some minor Led Zeppelin fanhood), but never seem to give any credit to the fucking three-guitar phenomenon that was Lynyrd Skynyrd. I asked one of these people why he couldn't dig Van Zant and the boys, and he said they were "fat and racist". Huh??? What do you people think?
