I never pay much attention to the extended warranty offers because I've done that a few times and never had a single problem with the damn things. Plus, I can't keep track of receipts to savem my life. I've still got an up and running PS2, so I'llprobably not buy another one, and If I don't get this thing figured out, I'll probably just take it apart and screw with the chips and gizmos (I don't know jack about the inter workings of technological devices, as you can probably tell by my expert terminology).
