: At what point do you draw the line?
: it's ok to download this song, it's so easy!
: it's ok to download this movie, it's so easy!
: it's ok to snag a few candy bars from this gas station, I'm kinda hungry and it's easy!
: it's ok to shove this ham down my pants, the grocery store won't know, it ain't easy, but I'm hungry!
: it's ok to rob this old lady, it'll be easy, and I gotta eat!
: all those things are the same, they are crimes.
: Just food for thought,
just food for thought? first of all there's a difference between physically taking things, then technologically copying/using/viewing them... to take something physically is to decrease it's quantity.... to copy something off the internet is simply making more of it... for private use... if someone walks into a store looks at a CD player, and then goes home and makes one for personal use then whats the problem with that? I'm not making profit on anything here... and let it be known that 99% of the albums/ movies i download i have either a copy of them already or intend to buy them at some time. I cannot afford to buy certian things right now.
Stealing to eat because of hunger (not normal hunger i mean starving people/ poverty stricken people) i don't consider a crime... number one your hungry, you HAVE to eat to stay alive it's natural instinct. Number two if your hungry enough your going to steal whether you want to or not.
