And he also made an incredible, terrifying film. If you're still in high school, please wait until graduation to check this one out. Way too close to home. Gus Van Sant and the kids from the movie did a Q&A afterwards, but it was dissapointing, as none of the questions were very thought out. I also saw John Norris from MTV and his boyfriend, who were a few rows behind me. He gave me one of those "yes, I'm a celebrity, please don't stare" nods. It was kind of funny.
If you're up for it, definitely see this film. The pacing was a lot like Gerry, his previous film, but to a lesser extent,it's great because the monotony adapts itself to the last 15 minutes and makes it all the more disturbing. I hope that last point made sense.
Kill Bill was really great too, as long as you know what you're getting into.
