: : -Guitar "hand" is determined by the picking hand. You only need to be able to grip a pick with that hand, and not even that if you have some special device, or you could even strum with your hand. The fretting hand is the one that requires all the dexterity.

-I SAID THE OTHER HAND, like the one that wasn't injured. Example. I bowl RIGHT handed. If my right hand got cut off, and I loved bowling, I would learn to bowl with my left hand.
