I saw a report on this a while back, I live a couple hours from Oakland and that area. I don't know if they banned it or it just went out of style, but I haven't heard anything about it recently.
The funniest thing about that video is not the whistle tip, but the fact that when the two really obnoxious "whistle fans" give the camera a "demonstration" they go ripping down the wrong side of the street going REALLY fast, almost hit another car while running a stop sign and swerve all over the road...
and they're talking about how the car WHISTLES?!
: okay...this is the funniest thing, and I have no idea why. I watched it with these guys about 5 or 6 times last night, and by the 6th time, tears were running down my face. This thing is hysterical! And the funniest thing about it is that this was an ACTUAL newscast! So sit back, relax, and listen to what Bubb Rubb and Lil' Sis have to say...they know what they talkin' bout. Whoo whoooo!
