Saw Chris Rock last night, Hey, this post is even board related.....he was funny as hell of course....he's getting ready for a tour and has been playing some smaller clubs/semi secret shows...I saw him at a small club in boston last night, and he was ON!!! Fantastic....I'm really getting into comedy...I mean developing an appreciation for what goes into writing comedy and stand up, sketch comedy, the history, etc.....In the last year and a half i've seem some terrific stuff...

I've been going to some local comedy clubs too....seen some good stuff, and some stuff that made me want to kill myself instead of hearing it...but the art of comedy is really growing on me....
Here are some people who are up and coming i've seen recently that you should keep an eye out for, they are pretty big but not Rock big

I've also been told to check out Dane Cook, but haven't yet...
