Did you miss the sign?
4. Please do not ask for A JOB. Please do not ASK TO BE IN A MOVIE. Do you
really think that we would offer you a job or a part in a feature film based on a post
on a WWWBoard?
: Ahhh, must be my interpretation skills are getting rusty. I didn't consider an
internship a "job" seeing as there is no pay. Hence, pay usually defining what
makes something a "job" I am sure you can understand my confusion. When
someone asks Kevin for a gig acting in a flick, he (or the studio funding) is required
to pay that person, hence making it a job.
Too be honest, I wasn't expecting Kevin to respond to my question ectasticly
saying, "YES! When can you begin?!" More specifically, I was hoping for "just the
facts, ma'am," which would refer me to the office fax number and contact, etc. I
didn't think that was an unreasonable request but if it violated the message board
by-laws, I apologize.
