sorry sorry - I heard v.bad things about HofD not remake of Dawn of the Dead..
I object to that movie on completely different grounds...
namely as Ralphy points out elsewhere not only is Hollywood churning out horror movies in some ill-conceived attempt to get the genre some mainstream success...but they haven't even managed to get anything other than a couple of remakes..
Texas Chainsaw Massacre? why would you remake that? oh yeah I forgot, millions of dollars from gullible teenagers who could rent the same damn movie for a buck-fifty from a 7-eleven and get the cheapest crash course on how to make a visceral and excellent horror movie for low/no budget...
Dawn of the dead was great, brilliant actually when I saw it 1st time round. LEAVE IT ALONE...
for a case in point watch the original Cat People and then the 80's remake... poopy-caca in a bucket if ever there was some.
