Alright, so "What's a Nubian?" is a well-loved quote from Chasing Amy, and contrary to the title of the post, I do know what a Nubian is, but I was just wondering if anyone can systematically break down the joke, because I just don't get why it is as funny as it is (I do think it's funny, but I have idea why). Is it Banky's ignorance in the face of an African American, or is there some hidden, connontative meaning that I'm missing? Alright, thanks a bunch "...get them" (haha).
