I'm not ripping into you for any other reason than that your post was an infantile rant that contained nothing of any real substance, it was nothing more than a collection of of reactionary statements, even the subject line of your post was:
"Animated clerks made me puke"
or were you shooting for an in depth analysis of the shortcomings of the series and simply failed due to an inability to express yourself...
"Whether or not I like clerks just for the dick and fart jokes does not change the fact that they were taken out of the show"
This is true, however that they were taken out doesn't change the fact that they were replaced with dialogue that was just as good, episode 4 is pure comedy gold from start to finish, to be fair, it didn't need dick jokes, it stands on its own two feet as proof that you do not always need to pander to the lowest of your fan base to produce something that people will like...
"Why do you think they had only 6 episodes? Because it sucked ass!"
Surely you know the story behind this, if you do not then try reading up on it before jumping to conclusions...
"If they would have stuck to what the majority of fans wanted to see(dick and fart jokes)"
Every fan I know and every person I have shown it to, loved it, so I'm not sure that you are speaking from the "Majority" viewpoint on this one...
"I still believe the majority of clerks fans took it as a kick in the balls"
You are entitled to your opinion but here you are making a general statement, you are not the majority of Clerks fans, even if you included your friends you would still not be the majority of Clerks fans, now at a guess, I am thinking that you have made this statement without conductiong any research into it, so until you can provide me with the data that you are basing this statement on, then I will take it that what you mean is...
"I still believe that myself as a fan of clerks took it as a kick in the balls"
or are you ordained by some higher power to speak for others without consulting them first...
and as for the Kevin Smith seal of quality, I like most people do not have to be told what to like, I tend to like things based purely on what I enjoy and whether anyone else gives it a recomendation or not does nothing to affect my judgement...
