Have to cast my lot in with the Sandman for current.. though calling what are now known as "graphic novels" comics.. kind of twists the knife a bit for me.. when I think comics, my mind travels back to the gems I started buying when I was 6, my all time faves of my childhood were Creepy, Eerie and last, but not least, Vampirella (made it's debut when I was 11.. a female character who was not only akin to a super hero, but even more fun, she was techincally a monster! Plus she was the brainchild of my then hero Uncle Forrey Ackerman..).
