: Movie Poll

: 1.) Do you watch Movies.com Motion on movies.com?

No

: 2.) How often do you go to apple.com to watch trailers?

Whenever there's one I'm dying to see happens to be online there.

: 2a.) How often do you go to any onine trailer site to watch trailers?

Hard to say.. the inconsistency of the industry releasing movies I will get all het up over certainly has alot to do with it. But I do keep my ear to the ground.

: 4.) If, by some obscure law, you were only allowed to watch movies by ONE production company, what would you choose? (i.e. WB, Dreamworks) [4a.) Was there even a need for an "i.e."?]

Hard to pin myself down to one. I'd prefer if you'd allowed us to select filmmaker rather than Production company.

: 5.) Do you watch/listen to the commentary tracks on the DVD?

Of course!

: 6.) Do you write reviews for any obscure publication? (Or not obscure)

Definately obscure, mainly a few blogs that are all about certain film genres.

: 7.) Have you ever used the word "obscure" more than three times in one sitting?

LOL! Unfortunately, yes.

: 8.) Do you despise Ebert and Roeper?

Absolutely despise Roeper, I have a slight fondness for Ebert mainly because he and Gene Siskel really were unbelievably open minded film reviewers. I latched onto them at the age of 19, back in the dark ages.
Sometimes Ebert seems to be turning into an old fart.. he ranked on Outside
Providence in the worst way.. just couldn't unbend enough to get that picture.. and I'm more than a bit fond of it as it was made in my old hometown.. (and I'm a rabid Farrelly's booster to boot) the old adage, the truth is stranger than fiction really does apply on that subject.. and when I read said review, I wanted to sentence dear old Roger to a good ten year term in Pawtucket for being such a wad!

: 9.) How many movies DO you see per hour/day/week/month/year/lifetime?

Aw, come on.. if I'm manic, I could sit through four or five movies per day. I've probably seen in the tens of thousands worth in my lifetime thus far (back in the good old days when you could count on seeing heaps of films, old ones especially around the clock on the tube). I've successfully managed to get my daughter to be as much a film maven as myself.. she's now a film studies major (co majoring English), who can hold her own on the subject with virtually anyone.
