That's why I said in "most cases"
X-2 was pretty friggin' sweet
T2 was great...Godfather 2...Silence of the Lambs (people forget that Manhunter was before it, which was remade into Red Dragon)...
So there are some good worthy sequels, but in most cases, they aren't very good...
