They talk about choice being one of the biggest most important qualities of being a human, right? Then how come in the end the most important points of the story were it being "inevitable" or part of "providence" or how about that it was part of a "prophecy"? Then how can it be about choice? Neo had no choice in the matter; he spoke of "what [he] is supposed to do." I understand even if you're supposed to do something you have a choice, but not if its inevitable, or providential, or the ending of a prophecy. Just terrible terrible terrible. And I really am surprised to see that there is anyone sticking up for the movie at all. I figured some people would say "come on, it's not THAT bad;" never but never did I imagine some masochistic fool would say it was "tolerable" or even "good" or heaven forbid a "masterpiece."
