I need some Job advice

okay, well, I got a new Job, I'm working at a Movie theater. been working there for the past week and its going great. before i applied, they also had a add in their window for a assistant manager position. I have experience in such, as I was a assistant manager of a BlockBuster Video before and I've been trained in management. I originally didnt apply for the assistant manager job because i really didnt think much about it, I was just worried about getting A Job. so now, after working and likeing the job alot, The AM job is still open. I'm thinking of going to the manager and telling her that I would like to apply for the AM job, but do you all really think that would be a good idea? I think I'd do well personally.

so, should I go for it?

also, if you all can kinda say a prayer for m, that would be great.
