Matrix questions (SPOILERS)

Ok, I'm convinced that Neo is Jesus. He took on the sins for the rest of humanity, was part man-part machine/god. That much I get.
What I'm having a hard time understanding is what roles, in a biblical sense, the Oracle and Architect have. I want to say the Oracle is God and Architect is the Devil.... but when Agent Smith calls her "mother", I took it to mean that she created Agent Smith. Kind of throws a wrench in the whole Oracle is God thoughts.
Anyone smart enough to understand this?
