Kill Bill was a very good movie. Though many people don't see that it's basis is on Japanese films and Anime. I mean, yes, the backstory to Lucy Lui's character is animated, but what about the live action fight scenes with gallons of "blood" in them? If you go back and watch even some modern day japanese animes, such as the Samurai X OVA's, almost every cut on a person is followed by a waterfall or gieser of blood. Just think if the Kool Aid guy was in an anime...
I'm not bad mouthing anything just saying that, anime's have compelling stories with just as much action, and don't get the recognition that they deserve. X Men 2 was alright and I did enjoy the Nightcrawler sequences, but it just didn't bite me like the first one.
Where am I going with this? I have no clue...I recently watched the Primetime Thursday special yesterday on LOTR:RoTK and it looks awesome..but they couldn't stop for one moment..they just had to mention "9/11" and the country in fear, I'm sick of that..
uhh..hmm..it's my first post and It has nothing to do with what Kevin said..
