: : Here are a few thoughts on it...

: : Is Jack playing both sides? How about Gael?

: In my opinion...no. I think Jack has worked some deal with Hector and is playing him to get close to a connection which has terrorist implications.

I agree. Or he's trying to destroy the Salazar tribe from the inside out.

: : Is the president in on it all?

: I am doubtful...if he was, he wouldn't have left the debate and would have just given his answer to Wayne directly. I have a feeling Palmer is going to be pissed to learn he was manipulated.

Ditto. Although I doubt he'll ever find out.

: : Am I the only one who's pretty bored with the whole Anne storyline?

: Well...yes, I am bored with that some. I am sick of her coming and aplogizing to David every episode. It is getting tired.

I just don't like her. She's always looking up at Palmer with the same exasperated expression. The show has really got to give me a reason why I should care if she gets killed or not. I haven't trusted her since the moment she appeared.

: : What do you think of the possibility of Salazar's wife being a govt agent?

: She is obviously up to something...so, that is a possibility, but if she was, why would she be so against Jack coming to Mexico?

Why so obviously? I think she's just worried that Jack is gonna screw them over again.

What's good about "24" is that even though twists like this seem so impossible (look how much stuff has had to happen for Jack to get back to Mexico; look at what Kyle Singer and his family have had to deal with; look at what happened to Almeida)...it's still awesomely clever.
