My sister from Rochester, NY, me (washington, NJ) and my sister from Murrells Inlet, SC all get together at my moms the day after Xmas and go to the movies. It is our third annual LOTR trip. We started it when the first one came out, my dad joined us. We promised not to see the others until we got together. My dad died just before the second one came out. We held up our end, we each waited. Now we take my nephew in my Dad's place.

my condolences...and WOW the movie is over 3 hours long?! I love it when a movie is over 3 hours long!!! Especially sci-fi fantasy!
