: These are good movies, and on my favorite comedies list, but the 1930s had truly GREAT cinema.

: And I don't need to list more, because M is, by far, one of the greatest films ever made, and definitely better than 99% of every movie released in the 80s. Throw in some Pygmalion and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, and you have an unbeatable combination.
