I found a ten pound note on the floor of the bar today. I ask whose it is. Naturally, ears prick up and Luke claims it. He then delivers a faux lecture on claiming things and mocked my small town naievty.
So, he splits it between him and his friend Dan. Approx 1 hr 45 minutes later (During which time I could have watched X-Men, but instead spent time rambling in the bar about an omni animal for meat in the shape of an oil drum, declaring the winner of Fame Academy my nemesis and other random thoughts), Paul declares he lost a tenner.
I told him, and he told Luke about how he had no bank card, and his job pays him in cash. Luke eventually paid back the money, and Dan is being chased by the SWAT team.
What I've now learned is you should either give the money to the bartenders, or shut the fuck up.
