I'm having a little trouble with a paper I'm writing and I'm looking for some sources. See, whenever I try a search engine, I can't get the specific phrase to work because it never has what I'm looking for (can't type it in the right way) and when I do a normal search my words always get used completely out of context with one another. So, I need the help of the experts out there. How do I have to phrase what I'm looking for to get a good source.

I'm trying to find the number of people who try marijuana each year
And the amount of money that the U.S. spends each year on the drug war.

If you could help me out with some instructuion, I'd appreciate it greatly.
