But I do have a soft spot for that stuff. Admittedly, it's not fucking Dylan. But, you have to admit, it's a nice welcome splash of unpretentiousness. I certainly look upon that time with more fondness than what followed in the early 90's when by a bunch of bands (whose names will go unmentioned), fond of looking up their own assholes decided that mixing arena rock with "introspective", navel-gazing lyrics and severe political correctness was a good idea.
By the way, speaking of Jethro Tull - Have you heard the recent Christmas album? Yukapoo....
