I truly and honestly don't GET why he's held up as the best thing NJ ever produced. He's always sounded like the most famous perpetually constipated guy in the world, to me.
I liked Bon Jovi, in my youth - he was at least pretty and entertaining.
...I got better. ;-) I certainly don't like Bon Jovi as they are now. *shudder*
But I've never liked Springsteen. It offends me when, upon being told I'm from NJ, people assume this means I like him. I think he's very overrated.
But I'll try not to bash him too much, just for you. I'm entitled to my opinion, though, right?
