I just finished writing a book...help

Anybody got any ideas or advice for me so I don't get fucked over paying $7000 just to get my book taken from a company without having the promise of ever getting published? I checked out www.wepublish.com but it seems too good to be true.

I'm already buying Adobe Acrobat 6.0 so I can put it over that format for online manuscripts.

And I'm copyrighting my story as we speak.
