In that case, I agree with him, except I don't think it's necessary to only pick one, as long as you're the sort of person who can accept paradox without suffering a breakdown (and many people cannot).
I'm sure there are some nutty professors out there who've spent their whole lives trying to prove that the world could have literally been created in seven days...what a waste of energy.
