Quite right. Personally, I had no interest in drinking at 18. I watched all my friends drinking and thought, "Wow, they look stupid. This isn't something I have an overwhelming desire to do." So I didn't drink until about 4 months shy of my 21st b-day, and that only because my best friend at the time turned 21 4 months before me, and pretty much insisted I get drunk with her. I'm still not much of a drinker, really, though of course I went through a drinking phase in college. That was when the whole SoCo thing went down.

: Ohhh Southern Comfort. I haven't seen a bottle of that since I saw one in my mom's
: bar when I was 16. Never even tasted the stuff.

As far as straight booze goes, it's not too bad. Sweeter than most. But after that night when I lost track sometime after my 7th or 8th shot... well, just SMELLING it makes me want to hurl the way I did then. So, no SoCo & Marlboros singing voice for me. I've got to make do with just Marlboros and weed.

: Good old Janis. Damn!

I know. I know I'm never going to be a famous rock star, now - I've gotten past the cursed age of 27.
I got to see her car in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, though. It... it was amazing, man. I mean, REALLY.
