: : I think that it is generous.
: : Why?
: : It gives Ming time to do other things with his time, besides worrying about some retard who made an account simply to be a clown. Ming can probably focus on more important things involving the Stash, or the site.
: : It gives us, the posters who have (most of the time.. haha) respect for others on the board, a chance to read posts that we WANT to respond to, instead of having to go through all of the posts we see every day. (U R THE 1S THAT R THE BALL LICKERZ!? etc.)
: : It's giving to a wonderful foundation like "RAINN". Or did you happen to miss that part? I don't think that $2 is a lot of give to post on a board. People don't -need- to make numerous accounts. The people who are victims of rape & incest probably do need the money.
: : Virgo
: You make some good points, Virgo. By the way, I did actually read the entire addition on the registration page, to include the RAINN donation info. I'm just curious as to whether the changes made will affect the board positively or not. Obviously we all hope so, but only one thing is certain: The board WILL change as a result. I personally believe it will greatly reduce the number of new posters, good or bad. It will largely remain the same oldies, which (I think) will get stale. Fast.
