got my pitbull nearly 2 years back. she is a sweetheart. she likes to play a bit rough and has been known to bruise my mom by clamping down on her arm, but she's totally playing. she is so incredibly friendly and good natured that it's a bit sickening.
the main thing, for me, is that I keep a close watch on her (not because I'm afraid she'll freak, but because I am tremendously over-protective of her). there is no chance of her breaking free and chewing some kids face off. responsible ownership is key.
and if philly ever told me I had to lose the pup, I'd take her to petco and get doggie 'stensions and claim she's a bizarre mutt.
: Chicago, you may have to sell your dog. Now this is Bull chit because you cannot blame the dog for the problem its the owners fault in this matter. I know a couple people who own pitbulls and they are the nicest dogs and fun to play with. Aldermans are such a waste of tax payers money, well at least around here.
