To use the Ben and Jen hype to Jersey Girl's advantage. They were a hot commodity - America's "it" couple.

However, now that Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight have the public fed up with Ben and Jen, it's probably better for Miramax to back away slowly.

I think a glimpse into an alternate universe would be awesome too:

Let's say Ben and Jen are still going strong, and perhaps have even gone through with the alleged wedding. They're still all over tabloid covers, written about in every paper in the nation, and Gigli is up for an Oscar.

I'd like to see that Bizarro world Miramax's marketing campaign, wherein Jen is all through the trailer, but then people go to see the movie and come out pissed off, saying, "She's only in it for, like, 15 minutes!"
