If I thought it was really a moral stand, then I suppose I would have to agree it was commendable. Corporations are about making money though, and I would guess that Clear Channel wants to be a part of the 'moral wave' that is mounting because of the FCC's reaction to the Super Bowl scandal.

I've heard Stern use the word 'nigger' and many other slanderous remarks over the years, but it was always in satire. As long as there are people out there who exhibit hatred and prejudice and bigotry - and there always will be - then is it really the right thing to do to pretend there isn't a problem when there really is? I mean, people do use those words and do feel that way.

While many of us hate that part of the world, ignoring it can't possibly help, can it?
