We don't have big national stations. They're severly regional.
Stern's morning show is picked up in other markets and run on individual radio networks across the country.
What happened isn't technically "censorship," because the radio network that buys the rights to syndication of his show has the right to air or not air anything they choose.
However, there are some insanely rabid Stern fans in this country, and they're pissed that the company cut him off.
