Has anyone else actually held one of these things?
It's just... a thing of beauty.
I'd been reading about this Prime for months now and had never truly planned on shelling out the cash on one, but yesterday I saw it in the TRU in Times Square and, after carrying one around the entire store, discussing all the sweet features it has with various other customers and employees alike, I made the decision to buy one as a 30th birthday present to myself (my birthday is this coming Saturday, for anyone who cares).
Here are several of the cool features about this Optimus Prime:

1. He's ginormous! He stands in at about 13" and has a chest and legs made of die-cast metal so he's heavy and sturdy.
2. Yes, he transforms, but the best way ever! His hands actually do go inside his wrists, even! His transformation is so complex that I'm still not even sure if I have it all down pat.
3. Accessories: His Ion Blaster is black, with certain parts grey or blue, plus if you look inside the gun it has an iredescent green glow. Hi Energy Axe fits onto either wrist (after collapsing the hand into said wrist) and rotates 360 degrees, the Matrix of Leadership not only fits inside his chest, but opens up, and he comes with a Megatron gun with detachable scope, siliencer, and grip.
4. Details! His Autobot symbol is plastic (not a sticker), his eyes are iredescent blue, there's a button on the back of his head to make his mouth move, and the matrix chamber inside his chest lights up!
5. Posability! I haven't counted how many points of articulation this guy has, but it's a lot! Each finger is individually articulated (only once, but still), his head, arms, and legs are all ball-jointed, his toes and ankles have joints. He's definitely the most posable transformer ever.

On the downside, it takes a good 15 minutes to open him up. Frickin' twisty ties.

Adam
