Like Affleck or not, I believe he can help the pic. He may not be thought of as a serious actor, but if you look at films like "Good Will Hunting" & "Chasing Amy", it shows he's capable.
Who knows, but if he proves himself more with "Jersey Girl," there'd be less naysayers about his ability.
