I totally dig the concept of sharing in the glory and agree that Kevin comes off as one of the fairest guys in the business, but at the same time, he's the CREATOR. I mean, there might be a kick ass gaffer on the project, but do those contributions make the film?
I can already see that this discussion has a lot of gray area in it, and yes, your thoughts really are helping me put this in perspective; thanks. I guess I expect the producers and directors to get the best people for the job and I certainly appreciate their involvement, but...
I don't know. Maybe it is best left as a preference without trying to force right/wrong, good/bad, etc. tags on it. I try to stay up on who's working on what anyway, so it doesn't really affect me much.
I try to do my part and at least stay for all the credits.
