And that's totally cool (and a much better analogy I might add), but did the group change? I suppose if there was no one person with artistic control, then yes, the group gets to share all the credit, but what about the money? Hmmm. That's a whole new discussion I believe.
: i agree with not using the credit though. reason being that i don't think it's ethical to direct a film that was written by another person, and developed by a group of people, and claim is as "a film by."
But would you support an obtrusive, "WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY" credit?
