: Bonus Q: Should I move to L.A.?

of course. everyone should move to L.A.

: Bonus Q 2: Where's a good place to job hunt in L.A.?

can't help you there.....but here's a neat story....

I actually used to know this guy named Monte Pittman who now plays guitar for Madonna. He lucked into it all by moving to L.A. and working at Guitar Center I believe. One day Guy Ritchie's personal assistant called the store looking for someone to give Mr. Ritchie guitar lessons and it just so happened that was Monte was giving lessons on the side. So, Monte is giving Guy lessons at their home and then Madonna decides she wants to learn as well and !VOILA! the rest, as they say, is history.

So, depending on you career intentions, get a job at some national chain store that's remotely related to your passion. Maybe it will lead to something fabulous as well.
