You talk about the content of the letter, but I'm sure anyone can spot that it's a fake by the form.
Anyone who is hired to represent the V.P. in writing has to have better english skills than this. Not that I'm the big, swinging dick of english, but if I were representing the V.P. I would make sure the letter was written more concisely and professionally.
I'd love to go through it with a red pen and play English teacher.
