: : #1 I was already writing that when you posted your retraction.
: Considering you didn't write much it musta took you a real long time to come up with all that to say if you missed it.
Not at all. I deleted an entire paragraph because I felt it was going off on a tangent.
: : #2 The picture doesn't work.
: : #3 You were basing your assessment on what you've heard, and I based my rebuttle based on what I've read.
: Considering the movie hasn't come out yet, i'm a little bit curious where your sources have come from.
MOVIE REVIEWS ya retard. The movie has been screened SEVERAL times to SEVERAL groups of people that have written SEVERAL reviews. What about your sources? How can you be curious about my sources, and not be curious about your own sources?
: : You should change your name to ShittyDebator, but then you wouldn't have that BITCHIN', and totally mature, masturbation "joke".
: Why are you getting mad?
Who said I was mad?
Why doesn't the picture work?
Some sites don't allow the linking of images. Your problem, not mine.
Do you have no more reason to explain yourself? come on man be a little bit more productive then that.
I've been very productive. I've posted in several threads about The Passion. Even the Almighty Smalls has agreed with the exact same things I've been saying over and over. There may very well be Christians not wanting this to be released, and their reason is the same as the ADL: This movie is being sold as the "true" story of Jesus' last hours, when, in fact, it is not the true story. Every review I've read by Rabbis and the ADL that have seen it have said that it doesn't show Jews killing Jesus, it exaggerates their role and the film overrall may encourage antisemitic behavior in people that are already antisemitic.
Based on the reviews I've read, it's nothing like The Passion Play (the play that the movie is based on, a play based on The Holy Bible). I'm not against it getting released, or being made. I'm against it's portrayal of Jews, but not solely because of putting blame on them (lots of movies don't portray races in a favorable light), but more because the movie is being labeled as "the truth". That's what pisses me off, because it works. I've read many discussions here and in other places where people defend it as being historically accurate, which it isn't. They wonder about the controversy if the movie is being honest about the Jews' role. Afterall, the movie doesn't say that the Jews were directly responsible for Jesus' death, and it doesn't show them nailing him to the cross.
I'm not mad, obsessed, or even passionate. I'm just posting my opinion. And if your '"handle"' is Master Debater, you should at least be good at debating and be able to come up with something better than questioning my sources, when yours aren't any more credible.
