I was just letting the fair members of the board know how this film had an impact on me. Not that it should do that for everyone, not that you should feel bad because of your religious preference... It was just a movie that I, personally enjoyed. I don't believe that any movie could capture what Jesus must have went through.... but it definately helped me better understand what he went through...

As for Mel Gibson's interpretation of it... perhaps it was... but it was pretty much my interpretation of it too, because it goes by the Bible pretty much word for word


: It's supposed to be a factual account of Jesus's last 12 hours, right? If people are so upset by this, shouldn't they also direct this outrage at the Bible too?

: It's not like Gibson is making Jesus a tap-dancing, homosexual alien. His story is from the Gospels written several hundreds years back.

: I still haven't seen it but really do want to. Maybe by the time I'm 40.
