: I haven't seen the film, but I just read the script. Damn! I love it. I loved the read so much that I feel justified paying $2 bucks to chat about it.

: Chasing Amy said everything I ever wanted to say about the philosophy of sex and love. However, it left me confused at the end.

: Seems to me that each character held a different philosophy on sex and love. At the romantic pinnacle of the film, the prevailing philosophy is that of Alyssa's. She allows no boundary to hold her back in experimentation, or limit her options in finding love. Eventually, she finds it - and is secure in knowing that all options have been pursued.

: But, then it all comes crashing down - as if to suggest such open experimentation is flawed. Banky says, Why are the three main characters left unfulfilled? Why the overwhelmingly tragic ending with just a glimer of hope?

: Is Holden destined to chase Alyssa for the rest of his life just as Silent Bob chases Amy? Kevin, if you're reading - I gotta know.

: I'm going to buy the DVD tonight to see if I pickup anything I missed in the script.
