Isn't his popularity, 13-year-old schoolgirl inclusive or not, due in large to Eminem telling the world that Fifty Cent was cool?

Granted, Eminem's visibility has fallen off markedly since, but when Fifty Cent first "dropped" (as they say on the streets), Eminem was still very much an MTV icon. Wasn't Eminem responsible for his discovery and mass-marketing? I mean, 13-year-old schoolgirls also would've lemming-ed themselves off cliffs in epidemic proportions if Marhsall Mathers suggested.

Plus, 'In Da Club' is groovealicious. Don't be hatin'.

By the by, speaking of that song, does anyone know who does the "female" version I've heard recently?
