You're still moving under the speed of light relative to the sun. You're adding speeds which can't be added together without conversion. Remember, the spaceship is moving 0mph relative to itself. 3 + 0 = 3. That's all you can add together. When you consider speeds from outside a system, you have to remember that time distorts (slows down) as an object or system approaches light speed. And as a system's "time" slows down, so do speeds of any elements of that system.
