I had some really great teachers that actually took an interest in the subject and
cared about whether we were learning or not, and if we weren't, worked with us
until we got the subject down. (That experience was sorely missed when I hit
college and my chemistry TA was MIA 90% of the time).
And, I did meet some great people that I still keep in touch with.
My main issue with the school was that it was too easy to get lost in the shuffle, you
know? I wouldn't have wanted to go to a tiny private school, but I could easily say
that I didn't know 30% of my graduating class, and wouldn't recognize them if I ran
into them on the street. Granted, I think I graduated with close to 800 people, but
still.
Educationally, though - it was great. College didn't seem that hard after it.
