: Sometimes you can run winipconfig from your command line (or just ipconfig depending on your version of Windows (just a guess)) and release your IP and get a new one. If you permanently want a vastly different one, you need to contact your ISP and find out how your account is strucuted, what options you have with them, etc. That's essentially what you're stuck with doing. If you just want to use a proxy to mask your IP while you're surfing, then just Yahoo on "proxy servers" and they'll explain everything better than I could.
