the only boy/girl couple i can think of who were in line and MIIIIIGHT have gotten there at 5:
30am had a tall blonde girl in pea-green pants....
I was there at 12:30 the night before and was STILL 6th in line... and that was just the line to get
tickets.
by the time the tickets were given out at 8am there were already enough people in the
admission line WITHOUT tickets (who ran around trying to beg tickets and letting people with
extra tickets cut in line with them) that when those of us with tickets arrived we ended up being
no closer than about 18th in line (i was about 23rd).
I wouldn't really be too bummed about kevin not coming down to the audience. The crowd was
DEFINITELY skewed in Angelina Jolie's favor (based on that audience i think it's a fair estimation
that 90% of all women would hook up with angelina jolie given the opportunity) so his
explanation was spot-on. It would have been pretty awkward for him to come down when the
front of the audience was 99% estrogen-charged for angelina... kevin's not such a turn-on for
the lusty lesbians.
i figured the the woman kevin was talking to at the side of he stage looked pretty important.. i
guessed she was some kind of producer and it looks like i was right.
It was definitely cool to be in the audience and throw that little extra bit of support kevin's way,
but MAAAAAAAAN that was a helluva lot of waiting. I was in line a total of 15 hours, in the
studio for another 1.5 hours or so and THEN drove another 4.5 hours to get up to San Jose to
make a meeting i had the next morning.
