"Cut to seven years later, and father and daughter -- named Gertie (Raquel Castro) after her mom -- get along great. But wait. How did that happen? Isn't that the meat of this story? Why does their bonding take place off-camera so to speak?"
'Cause I seem to remember a whole scene between Affleck and baby-daughter, a scene which there are brief clips from in some of the ads, that seemed to cover this transition in my mind.
He also misunderstood the entire reason Affleck got fired, and misunderstood the reason Affleck doesn't have a better job (it seems like he somehow ignored the fact that Affleck was being both mother and father to the kid and, thus, didn't have a lot of time to devote to being a publicist ... but wasn't he listening? Doesn't J-Lo have a whole speech saying pretty clearly, "being a publicist is a full-time gig, but you have to make time for your family" or whatever).
I don't know, this guy seems to have ignored whole sections of the set-up and then complained that things weren't set up for him.
