: Ok, I just want to pose a question that my friends and I have been kicking around for a while now.
: Do movies based on comics do justice to the comics they represent?
: Don't get me wrong, I love the line of comic movies that have come out (with a few exceptions) but I feel that they take a few too many liberties. What I mean to say is that I was having a conversation with a girl who had never picked up a comic in her life; she was all excited to have a newfound comic knowledge so I let her tell me about each character. I didn't have too much of a problem until I heard her refer to Wolverine as "the main guy." Now, I like Wolverine as much as any comic collector but I wouldn't consider him THE main character of the X-Men series. Perhaps I'm taking it a bit far but now that I watch X-Men I notice that it deals mostly with Logan. He has interesting plot line, yes, but so does a lot of the Professor Xavier's elite.
: I'm really just looking for another person’s opinion.
: Sub question - What comic character would you like to see be portray on the big screen?
Differentiate between the comic books and the movies they are "based" on, then we can talk
